"Dear fans and ticket buyers,
I am truly sorry we are unable to make the trip to Europe to play these shows you have so graciously set up.
A key member of my band has a family emergency and he is unable to make the trip. If there was anyway at all the find a replacement I would , however it is an extremely complicated setup and it is far too short notice to find a replacement. Unfortunately I have already bought the plane tickets and will take a big loss from this situation as well.
All I can say is thank you so much for putting time and energy into having me come out there, and I hope to make it out there as soon as I am able.
You can get your tickets refunded from the original point of sale.

Gruizige synthwave met popstructuren en duidelijke referenties naar The Cure en bij uitbreiding all things 80's, dat is wat Frankie Rose laat horen op haar albums. Voorheen actief in zowel Dum Dum Girls, Crystal Stilts als Vivian Girls laat ze solo dus meer elektronisch gerichte muziek horen dan wat je zou verwachten op basis van haar muzikaal verleden.
In de vlotte popnummers van Frankie Rose zitten op subtiele wijze elementen van postpunk, dreampop en shoegaze verwerkt en samen met haar lieflijke stemgeluid maakt dat een gelaagd maar onweerstaanbaar geheel. In augustus verscheen met 'Cage Tropical' de langverwachte opvolger van het in 2013 verschenen album ‘Herein Wild’ en de reacties liegen er niet om:

Dakota is een dreampopband uit Amsterdam. Op hun debuut-EP "Leda" mixen ze psychedelische gitaarriffs met indie-pop tot een aanstekelijk geheel. Met hun fantastische eerste single 'Icon' mochten ze aantreden in 'De Wereld Draait Door'. Met opvolger 'Silver Tongue' bewijzen ze opnieuw hun uitstekend gevoel voor melodie en sound. Fans van Warpaint en Beach House zullen dit zeker kunnen smaken!
