Atelier SPOOR
Spoor is a shared space
(Screen printing) studio SPOOR is at the crossroads between image and music, a space where musicians make screen prints, illustrators and designers exchange mixtapes and visual artists design a concert poster. It is a lab for experiment, where connection, exchange and creation are central.
An alliance of Frans Masereel Centrum, Afreux, Gezeever, screen printers, artists, musicians, ...
Artists in Resident
At SPOOR we offer support to young graphic designers and artists, we stimulate creation and we help them with their artistic development in the form of residencies.
We select graphic artists who:
- have a clear goal in mind: this can be a defined project but can also focus on experimentation and development of the artist themselves
- have basic knowledge of screen printing or are very interested in learning it
- want to create their own work
Wanting to make a connection with music is a plus!
We offer different formulas:
Permanent graphic artists in residence
Every year Trix selects 8 new residents. They get free access to the studio, including the tables, for a whole year.
Work weeks
Is your project limited in time? Do you need, for example, an intensive creative week? Throughout the year we offer 6 short-term residencies of minimum 7 days and maximum one month where you get a permanent workplace.
