Artists in Resident

Trix is ​​​​an Antwerp music center with various stages and an extensive development space.

From this space we offer broad support to young creators and artists, we stimulate creation and help them with their artistic development. Trix recognizes the vulnerable position of artists and its mission is to support these artists on a professional level. We continuously select interesting artists who:

• have growth potential on an artistic level
• are relevant
• are diverse from each other
• have a clear goal in mind: this can be a defined project (such as working towards an album or a live show), but can also focus on experiment and development of the artist themselves.

The duration of the residency depends on the needs of the artist in question.

We offer different formulas:

Residents

Every year Trix selects 8 fresh residents based on an open call. They get a workplace, coaching, and customized support for a whole year.

Young AIRs

Four young artists at the start of their musical careers are given space for experimentation and development.

Work weeks

Is your project limited in time? Do you need, for example, an intensive writing week? Throughout the year we offer 6 short-term residencies of maximum 7 days where you get a permanent workplace.
