The American Story of the Year is known for their energetic performances and mix of punk, emo and post-hardcore. Their breakthrough came with the 2003 album "Page Avenue", which featured hits such as "Until the Day I Die" and "Anthem of Our Dying Day". Since then they have had a consistent presence in the alternative rock scene. Last year they released their sixth album with "Tear Me to Pieces".
