Rubus
Rubus presents you with a mix of light and melancholic pop. Born out of the brain of Bram Van Hecke Rubus already graced the ethers of Radio 2 and Willy with its lovely sound. Bitesized melodies and lived lyrics, you won’t forget a Rubus show any time soon.
Pepper Room
Pepper Room summarises as power-jazz with a strong foundation and droning melodies. Sometimes they are contrary, but you will never find them getting pretentious. Tight rhythms and vintage sax make for an exciting set. Pepper Room mostly plays their own songs, but every once and a while you might hear a Nordmann or The Comet Is Coming.
Lonewolves in paradise
Antwerp based Lonewolves in Paradise are inspired by acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Ramones, Joy Division, The Clash, The Cure, Dire Straits and others. Mixing all of these inputs together they landed on their own distinct sound. After their first single “The Wuh”, six more tracks followed. The most recent one being “At 3s & 5s”. Their songs will get a hold of you right away. Swaying from rock, to post-punk, to new-wave. This mysterious band will have you intrigued in no time.
