Tyrone Griffin (born April 13, 1985), better known by his stage name Ty Dolla Sign (stylized as Ty Dolla $ign or Ty$), is an American singer, rapper and producer from Los Angeles, California. He is currently signed to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records and Atlantic Records. The son of a musician from Lakeside, Ty Dolla $ign originally began his career in music by learning the bass guitar. Since then, he has learned several instruments, from the drums, guitars, and keyboard to the MPC. Earlier in his career, Ty Dolla $ign and his partner Kory signed a record deal with Venus Brown and Buddah Brown Ent. They would release Raw & Bangin Mixtape Vol 2, however that deal fell through, and after that he would meet Los Angeles rapper YG. Ty Dolla $ign's initial claim to fame was through the success of "Toot It and Boot It", a song he both wrote and produced for YG. Both are affiliated with the group Pushaz Ink. In 2011, Ty Dolla $ign released his first single "All Star", featuring Joe Moses with production by Fuego. His song "My Cabana" was ranked in Complex's Best 50 Songs of 2012 list at #23. Ty Dolla $ign signed to Atlantic Records in 2012. Then he released the Beach House mixtape on October 1, 2012 and followed with the Beach House 2 mixtape on July 1, 2013, which featured guest appearances by Too $hort, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, and Kirko Bangz among others. The following day it was revealed he was signed to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records. The Beach House mixtape was supported by the single "My Cabana" featuring Young Jeezy and Beach House 2 was supported by the singles "Irie" featuring Wiz Khalifa. On January 21, 2014, Ty Dolla $ign released his debut extended play, Beach House EP. The EP featured guest appearances from Casey Veggies, Wiz Khalifa, Twista, Jay Rock, Trey Songz, French Montana, and Fredo Santana and the popular single "Paranoid" featuring B.o.B. On January 7, 2014 Ty Dolla $ign released the second single from Beach House EP, "Or Nah" featuring Wiz Khalifa and DJ Mustard. On February 23, 2014, Ty Dolla $ign revealed that his debut studio album would be titled Free TC, and be released during the third quarter of 2014. He also told Revolt that had already completed eight songs for the album, and that he would be going on the Under the Influence 3 tour with Wiz Khalifa during 2014. He is being considered for the 2014 XXL freshman class.

Play Dirty consists of 2 artists called Krept and Konan, two very talented up and coming artist from South London killing the UK underground scene with their music. With punchlines and metaphors beyond comprehension, they bring together a dynamism unseen in this country, creating variations of good music. With Krept growing up in Gipsy Hill and Konan growing up in Thornton Heath, they started in their neighbourhoods from an early age. As time went on krept and konan became friends outside of music and in due time realised we both had a musical talent in mc/rapping. It was then only a matter of time when they both came together to make a few songs for the fun of it. The songs had the streets going crazy, everybody had them on their phones, it is then when they realised their music potential. Unfortunately later down the line in 2007 konan went into incarceration for a whole year which had a major effect on their music path. Krept did not concentrate on music during konan’s incarceration, and at this point music was not in the picture for either of them. However in 2008 Konan was then released from jail and music was still not in the picture for either krept or konan. A few weeks after konan’s release a friend of both krept and konan had a studio who occasionally invited them round to make tracks here and there. As these tracks were released their fanbase began to grow again it was then when they both decided to put more effort into the music. The two then started doing music videos, freestyle videos and releasing more tracks as time went on and the fanbase continued to grow. Both krept and konan then released a mixtape together called “Redrum” which was made due to high demand. At this point it was clear to everyone that krept and konan became a duo in the music scene, and at this moment all they were missing was a name. This is where Krept and konan both came to the decision of the name “Play Dirty”. They are now an official group which will be expanding in the future to more artists producers etc..
