Trixie Whitley

The stage holds no secrets for Trixie Whitley. She made her first musical appearances at the age of 3 with her father Chris Whitley. Not much later Trixie started a life long journey of artistic development. She spent her early years behind the drumset and DJ decks. Her late teens saw her fronting Daniel Lanois’ Black Dub. In 2013 she decided to focus on her soloproject. The ten years that followed resulted in 3 mesmerising and wildly unique full length albums.

Indré

Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė is a Lithuanian singer, kanklės player (Baltic psaltery), sound artist, and composer. She creates serene and ethereal soundscapes by blending Lithuanian folk songs, kanklės melodies, improvisation, and electronics.

Indrė often performs solo or with her band Merope, alongside Belgian guitarist and electronic artist Bert Cools. Her work is supported by the art platform 'granvat'. Their latest album 'Salos', featuring Vilnius Chamber Choir 'Jauna Muzika', was released on Stroom and granvat.

She has collaborated with a diverse range of musicians including Shahzad Ismaily, Efterklang, Tsubasa Hori, Gyda Valtysdottir, Solo Cissokho, and Toma Gouband. Indrė also composes for theatre and multimedia, such as her recent music for the 'Yerma' adaptation commissioned by Stockholm Dramaten theatre and directed by Lisaboa Houbrechts.

In her live performances, Indrė sings Lithuanian folk songs and integrates them delicately into her own soundscapes, blending acoustic and electronic elements, field recordings, and improvisation. Her songs explore themes of nature, flowers, birds, trees, sun, moon, stars, everyday rituals, and transformation.
