Charlize

Charlize (19) has been writing, playing and singing her own work for the last two years. In November 2021, this resulted in her debut demo 'You', which was very well received (including Humo's Rock Rally, Villa Basta Studio, Radio Scorpio Sessions, Summer Sessions Turnhout, Festival oan de voart, Open Mic Het Depot, ...). This demo consisted of listening songs made on piano. In the last year, Charlize has been working on new and heavier work in which she has exchanged the piano for the electric guitar. One of these new songs 'Oh God' made it to the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition in the category 'Teen' with Coldplay, Mariah Carey and Tom Waits among others on the jury. Recently you can also listen to 'The other way' and 'Dare' on this page. These have become 2 lofi pop rock songs.

WASTE

WASTE is a metaphorical cry of destructiveness and melancholy. Their call resonates through the Antwerp - Aarschot music scene, whilst their true nature exists of flaming noise, grunge and dark post-punk.

Expect melancholic vocals with manic outbursts, tight pumping drums, heavy basslines and screeching guitars when watching this band tear down the stage.

Stories of neglect, rage, madness and trauma flow together in a spicy cocktail of insanity. The dark and unspoken realms of the world, served on a silver platter.

Lil Alia

Deep trap beats, synths and spherical harmonies. Sensitive, definitely not-bad-ass lyrics. About cat raincoats, a little too close bond with your nintendo dog and someone who loves your never-tidy hair. Lil Alia suggests: "fluffy trap."

Throughout her life, Linde harbored an affinity for hip-hop, although she couldn't reconcile her image as a sensitive, sugary animal lover with being a rapper. Until she decided to radicalize in her atypical softness and come out with her self-invented genre 'fluffy trap'. Lil Alia is a theatrical experience. Expect a good dose of humor and self-relativization, interspersed with deep vulnerability and melancholy.

Emma Hessels

Emma Hessels makes small songs about great, universal feelings such as love and loneliness. Her music is a search for identity and recognition. That searching aspect also translates into her sound, which is difficult to label with one genre. Only her soulful voice is a constant throughout her modest oeuvre. At the moment, that voice mainly sounds between two walls, but she hopes to expand her project soon with a band with which she can perform her music live.
