Sad Banana tries to look at the world from a banana's perspective. From inconsistent considerations, it attempts to make an existential fruit salad in the form of something that can resemble a music concert filled with lyrics that navigate between boasting and panic attack, vulnerability and kitsch, politics and pastiche. Sad! ... Bananas are fragile fruits. They are picked green, washed and packed in sturdy cardboard boxes. It is in this box that the banana became sad and realized that it has become, against will and thanks, the symbol of advanced globalism. Sad Banana cultivates this sadness in text, music and images. Sad B. uses their penchant for punk, rap music and dadaism to create a contemporary expression of what it means to be an overripe banana in a post-capitalist world. It makes them sad, but tears become beats if you know how to use them well.
