Prins S. en De Geit

Long ago, in a 42-story tower block in The Hague, singer Scott Beekhuizen, bassist Marne Miesen, and producer Daniel Ortgiess crossed paths. That’s how Prins S. en De Geit was born, a trio crafting danceable despair-pop full of absurd imagery and sharp observations.

After their successful debut 'Rood Staan Hard Gaan', they return with 'Partijtje',  a darker yet still celebratory album about a world in decline. With songs about musical chairs with no chairs, a magician who wishes he could actually fix things, and disco swimming as a last resort, the band walks the line between melancholy and letting go. Even when the water’s up to our necks, dancing is still all we’ve got.

They’ve played major festivals like Lowlands, Pinkpop, and Pukkelpop, won a 3FM Award, and continue to win hearts, both in and beyond the Netherlands.
