Pile saw light near the end of the the two-thousands as the soloproject of Rick Maguire. They quickly grew to become Boston DIY-scene’s sweetheart. Up for grabs for inspiration: post hardcore, indie, slowcore, noise and even a whiff of dark folk. Their latest new record shows them pulling even more references. From strings to threatening synths “All fiction”,  the band’s eight record, is another showcase of Pile’s unique sound.

NO PRISONERS is the brand new band around Pieter-Paul Devos (Raketkanon, Kapitan Korsakov) and other beautiful people. For example, Harry Descamps (WHORSES) plays guitar, Leander van het Groenewoud (aka.
