Kerala dust

Originally from Britain but now based in Zürich and Berlin, the band blends influences from psychedelic rock, blues, and techno into a unique and cohesive whole. In 2023, they briefly took a different direction with their album Violet, which turned out to be part of a short-lived revival of krautrock. The movement ultimately couldn't withstand the rise of post-punk. For Kerala Dust, however, this is no reason to abandon their mission.

Their new single, 'Bell', carries echoes of German bands like Can and NEU!, as well as John Lee Hooker. The pulsing rhythm of Bell makes it a track that almost demands movement, yes, even dancing. Though the latter is rather uncommon in the art rock scene Kerala Dust inhabits.
