Nightshift

Established in Glasgow 2019, Nightshift are an outfit driven by Andrew Doig, Chris White, Eothen Stearn and Rob Alexander. Presently touring 2024 album Homosapien, out via Trouble in Mind records; the ensemble's post punk fruit salad is complimented by medieval and countrified zest.

The songs hatch from home-roosted improv jams self-produced and incubated as Nightshift and friends contribute melody, groove and texture. Lyrically words feature the personal, romantic and political.

The live set leans in to the recorded tracks whilst keeping the performance fluid and toasty. The music is hook-laden and cerebral.
