Hippotraktor is a progressive metal band from Mechelen. Intriguing textures and strange atmospheres are just a few gears that power the Hippotraktor machine. With 'Stasis', Hippotraktor returns, the powerful sequel to their impressive debut album 'Meridian' from 2021. This album balances precisely between the grandeur of nature and the chaotic nature of our own existence. It documents human unrest with explosive riffs and captivating grooves, brought by closely connected musicians and good friends, who are confident in their collective abilities. Hippotraktor finally finds its rhythm with the permanent addition of guitarist/vocalist Sander Rom and percussionist/vocalist Stefan De Graef.

Upon first hearing the Brussels-based My Diligence, you will not believe that it is only three musicians. Gathering influences ranging from Helmet-style math-grunge to infectious QOTSA rock to the wild meanderings of Elder, their sound is further augmented by the inclusion of a Moog keyboardist in lieu of a bassist. Does this in any way reduce the pummeling power of this trio? The answer is a resounding ‘Hell no’!
