High Vis
High Vis are the gilets jaunes of the British music scene. The group voices the concerns and frustrations of the working class. The name is an abbreviation of ‘high visibility clothing’, in their words the eye-catching fluorescent apparel that unites hardworking Britain. The members of the London band have previously served in iconic hardcore bands including Dirty Money and Tremors. The payload has remained largely intact under the new name. But their output has become warmer and more subtle. Their debut, ‘No Sense No Feeling’ (2019) still feels like a punch in the face. The follow-up, ‘Blending’ (2022) explored new horizons with surprising influences such as Gang Of Four, Joy Division and The Stone Roses. The status of High Vis changed overnight. ‘Blending’ made it onto end-of-year lists and the group soon progressed from small to major venues.
Narrow Head
Narrow Head has been rocking the Texas underground since 2013, truly finding their groove in Houston. Their DIY debut "Satisfaction" put them on the map. Their latest album "12th House Rock" is raw, pure, and packed with catchy riffs. Think My Bloody Valentine meets Deftones, but with their own twist. These guys create their own scene because, in Houston, you’ve got to stand out. Now they’re ready to conquer the rock world with this album!
