Meetsysteem is the alter ego of Amsterdam-based Ricky Cherim. He made an impact with his debut album in 2019 and has since evolved into a versatile artist unafraid to be raw and vulnerable. Inspired by genres like new wave, Dutch rap, and musique concrète, the strength of his music lies in its layered, both light and heavy lyrics. His sound bridges club culture and pop, allowing ravers to blossom and introverts to dance. After two successful albums and a vibrant EP with Victor De Roo, Meetsysteem is finally back, bringing his intimate new solo show "Waar Ontmoet Jij de Maan?" exclusively to Trix. While he usually performs with a band, this show focuses on Meetsysteem in its purest form, reflecting how the music truly comes to life.
