With the hits ‘Home’ and ‘Hungry’, Dotan already had a real formula for success in 2014. The combination of menacing rhythms, wide melodies and intriguing lyrics ensured that every folk rock lover immediately took the Dutchman to their hearts. The new songs that he has already released into the world (‘Louder’, ‘Diamonds in My Chest’ and ‘Drown Me in Your River’) harbour the warmth that is so typical of Dotan. With the new album ‘A Little Light in the Dark’ (released on 25 October), he did not want overly polished productions, but mainly songs that are full of nostalgia and dreaminess.
