After more than twenty years of absence, DOGSTAR is ready for a comeback, with a new album and an accompanying tour. On Monday June 3, the LA-based rock trio - consisting of guitarist and singer Bret Domrose, drummer Rob Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves - brings their 'Somewhere Between The Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour' to Trix!

DOGSTAR was born in 1991 as a group of friends who got together in their garage and dreamed of making some music together. Now, more than thirty years later, Domrose, Mailhouse and Reeves have once again taken the time to create a series of new songs that perfectly reflect who they are as artists today. The rock trio's official return came in May 2023 with their first live performance at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival, where they delivered a set that was loved by fans and critics. In July 2023 they released their lead single “Everything Turns Around”, also the kick-off of their 'Somewhere Between The Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour'.

At its base Ratmosphere is a glittery kind of art pop embedded in 80ies vibe. The brotherly duo has recently expanded to a four piece band and has been a welcome guest as tour support for the likes of Batlhazar, Black Box Revelation and Warhaus. In 2020 they won the Soundtrack Kansenparcours contest which resulted in being added to the Excite Music network, media coverage by Radio 1 and a residence in de Brakke Grond Amsterdam. Their latest new record "Devils Island" brings their typical sound to a new level.
