Mississippi-raised, Loas Angeles-based musician and pop auteur Dent May dedicates his life to the craft of songwriting. He entered the scene some 15 years ago and claimed his spot as a master in warm and cosy bedroom pop. His signature hooks and sharp lyrics have been impressing fans since his debut “The Good Feeling Music of Dent May & His Magnificent Ukulele”. Later releases like “Warm Blanket”, “Across the Multiverse” and “Late Checkout” all carry out his knack for tunes. For his latest LP “What’s For Breakfast” he moves away from pop and veers towards guitar-driven rock. The record proves to be his most energetic release to date.
