Death Goals
Death Goals released their second album "A Garden of Dead Flowers" in May 2023. The album explores themes such as secret encounters, queer representation, fears, addiction, and community acceptance. The duo, Harry Bailey and George Milner, are now regarded as a queer hardcore band, documenting their experiences with that label in their music. With a more diverse sound ranging from energetic opening tracks to deeper songs like "A Garden of Dead Flowers," the album offers a captivating anthology of lived experiences, infused with hope and community.
Knives
Knives, a Post-Punk band from Bristol, released their EP "Newshounds" in April 2023, followed by a long-awaited cover of Kate Bush's "Babooshka". Their pop-inspired style gives punk a fresh twist and has earned them a place in the British alternative circuit. On May 3, their new EP "What We See in Their Eyes" will be released, just before their performance at the 2000 Trees festival. With energetic live performances and critical anthems, they impress alongside bands like Mclusky, CLT DRP, Tokky Horror, LIFE, and Enola Gay.
