On floor -1 you will find our rehearsal rooms. That space in Trix is bursting with talent. This year, more than 2000 rehearsers have already dived into the basement. Everything that is practiced, played and created there, simply deserves a stage. Hence: Café Kelder.
During Café Kelder, musicians from our rehearsal rooms are given the stage in our café! They determine the musical program for an entire evening. The stage is therefore theirs and their talented friends'. The chance to discover the latest talent, that is yours! Café Kelder is completely free by the way, it doesn't get any better than this.
Carroser
Carroser is faux punk for the people! This band blends post-hardcore, dreamo, and indie-punk into an experience you can’t afford to miss. Their songs provoke thought and create connections, perfectly balancing cynicism with hope. Get ready to mosh and cry all at once! Carroser is here to stir your emotions, so come join the ride and feel it with us!
Brakwater
With their rowdy garage punk, the young but mainly loud Brakwater brings a live show that grabs you and will not let go. Since they formed in 2022, vocalist Lander Kersbergen has been screaming into his microphone until he almost literally falls over. Together with drummer Arthur Block and bassist Emily Russel, they form a destructive trio with a passion for chaos and disorder that is currently recording a first single. Their music feels like a mix of Viagra Boys, Idles and The chats, but be sure to come and discover Brakwater for yourself.
Mugger Hugger
They describe their music as the outcast child of jazz rock and punk disco. Mugger Hugger's line-up also speaks volumes: think the Sha-la-lee's, but without the harmonica. Does that come in handy as support act for that band.
Dora Brams, Midas Heuvinck and Simon Pas form a rock-solid trio that is well on its way to perfecting its sound. With funky guitar riffs that explore all scales, it promises to be an exciting evening in Trix!
