Bloodywood
Bloodywood, groundbreaking metal band from New Delhi, India, gained international recognition for blending traditional Indian folk music with heavy metal. The band’s music incorporates a wide variety of influences: heavy guitar riffs, rap, growling vocals and traditional Indian music elements like the dhol, flute, and sarangi. Which gives their music a distinct cultural sound that makes them stand out in the global metal scene.
They often address social and political issues in their lyrics, such as mental health, corruption, and violence, making their music both impactful and resonant with a broad audience. Their music videos have also gone viral on YouTube, amassing millions of views and building a strong fanbase worldwide.
Bloodywood’s 2022 debut album 'Rakshak' was well-received, especially in the metal community, for its originality and powerful messages. It solidified their place as a force in the international metal scene, pushing the boundaries of both Indian and metal music.
