This session is all about Phil 'Ras Feel' Wauters, a true pioneer in the Belgian reggae scene. Back in '79, he and Pat Flashman cooked up the very first Belgian soundsystem: King Flashman Elektro Sound.
But that's not all! Ras Feel was rocking the reggae scene from the early '80s, jamming with different bands (remember him opening for Yellowman right here in '84?), dropping wisdom in the reggae mag Rockers, and showcasing his artwork proudly above Reggae Geel's mainstage.
Let's not forget the man's own Rainbow Arch Studio, where he kept the vibes alive, dropping tunes over reimagined Studio One riddims.
Fast forward to the end of 2022, and we bid an unexpected farewell to Phil. But guess what? We're turning the beat up loud because we won't forget this vibrant rasta spirit! Let's dance it out and keep the vibes alive!
