#WAO24: tips of Hendrik Wittock (DJ Rostgoed / Fifty Lab Music Festival)
You can also know Hendrik Wittock under his DJ name Rostgoed or as festival coordinator of the wonderful Fifty Lab Music Festival. He was presented the We Are Open line-up and indicated his favorites with the following acts:
1. salome - Saturday February 10
"I got to know Salome when I was actually looking for music from Herrensauna resident DJ Salome and ended up on Salome's Spotify instead. I fell head over heels for the hyperpop of this artist, which captured the happy-sad feelings of my adolescence. Salome also played at Fifty Lab Music Festival in Beursschouwburg last November, and was one of my personal highlights."
2. Movulango - Friday February 9
"This artist from the DEEWEE label was allowed to perform at Fifty Lab in the basement of a brewery in 2022. He was wearing a Lady Gaga T-shirt, so that was a good fit. I have to admit, he didn't quite win me over before the show, but his then unreleased work quickly won me over. A track like 'Differently' is top of the indie bops if you ask me. He is also very sympathetic."
3. NAH - Friday February 9
"It's hard to call this sample king an up-and-comer, with 10+ years of experience behind him. I already had the opportunity to see NAH live at Out The Frame in VIERNULVIER in 2022, and I'm still going to watch it again, because I like to idolize unadulterated talent."

"My dearest and talented colleague LB Marszalek will also play at We Are Open on Friday and you should not miss it if you like exquisitely layered ambient full of field recordings."
