#WAO24: tips from Rik De Bruycker (Studio Brussels / Radio 1)
As a radio presenter and DJ, Rik De Bruycker has been putting local talent in the spotlight for some time, both on Radio 1 and Studio Brussels. With the latter, he even focuses solely on Belgian music during his program #ikluisterbelgisch. So he is the ideal man to go through the We Are Open line-up and share his tips. We asked for three, but we got four! According to him, not to be missed:
1. Victor Der Roo - Saturday February 10
"One of my favorite Brussels synth magicians for a long time and a man who changes his sound more often than Apple releases a new iPhone: what it will be is a surprise."
2. Niels Orens - Friday February 9
"Because the best sounding cello is not in a synthesizer, but just next to it."
3. Shoplifter B2b Mankiyan - Friday February 9
"The first name here is a discovery for me, the second name can only confirm its status that evening: Brussels queen of Bassssssss!"
3+. Youniss - Saturday February 10
"If I don't put him in my top three, he'll never help me move again."
